Job Summary
Responsibilities include identifying and gathering requirements to design and implement wired/wireless LANs, conducting site surveys for device placement, maintaining IT and network infrastructure, installing and configuring servers and networks, testing for performance and security, diagnosing and resolving network issues, managing IP space, reporting on network health, and maintaining technical documentation. Role supports 24/7 operations with shift and weekend work and involves CCTV/VTC support and collaboration with technical teams. Required qualifications include DoD Secret/Public Trust clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level I/II, 6+ years of experience or equivalent, CCNA/CWNP or similar certifications, and US citizenship. Knowledge of Aruba networking equipment is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- DoD Secret Clearance or Public Trust clearance required
- High School plus specialized training and 6+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I or Level II compliant; additional network certifications such as CCNA, CWNP are a plus
- Experience in general networking and network administration; upgrade and operations
- Strong technical writing skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio
- Knowledge of TR, CAT6, crimps, wiring standards; BICSI certification a plus
- Valid driver's license and ability to climb a 10 ft ladder and lift at least 40 lbs
- US citizenship; ability to access sensitive information; E-Verify compliance
