Job Summary
IT Specialist 1 / IT Support Assistant position based in the greater Frederick, MD area with responsibilities including operation and maintenance of high-capacity multifunction printers, relocating equipment, pre-deployment asset discovery interviews, repairing and replacing equipment, updating asset management, installing and maintaining PC hardware and software, troubleshooting network usage and peripherals, performing system backups and data recovery, resolving network issues, email administration, network security, asset disposition, and other admin duties. duties also cover network operations/maintenance, familiarity with routers/switches/firewalls, cabling/splicing, potential equipment transport within the service area, deployment/downloads, and local installations. Requires a high school diploma, basic IT support training, 1-2 years of experience, DOD Public Trust clearance (or ability to obtain), excellent customer service and communication skills, professional attention to detail, driving ability, and US citizenship for access to sensitive information. Required Qualifications
