Job Summary
Develop annual and multi-year sourcing strategies by collaborating with Medical Center IT Missions, Finance, Legal, and Vendor leadership to align with organizational goals. Lead end-to-end IT Software sourcing projects through the 7-step strategic process, conducting market research to identify suppliers and analyze spend data for cost optimization. Manage relationships with key vendors, perform regular performance reviews, and drive commercial negotiations for frameworks, licenses, and support agreements. Execute total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to pinpoint cost-driving factors and recommend efficiency strategies while assessing risks and ensuring compliance. Report to the Software Sourcing Manager and participate in shaping policies and workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Minimum of three years, strategic sourcing responsibilities for various commodities both products and services within and outside healthcare organizations of work experience in operational, procurement, sourcing
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of procurement/sourcing process
- at least +1 experience in either AWS, Azure, or GCP
- ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
