Job Summary
Role combines Frontline IT & Factory Support with AI-Driven Software & Integrations. You’ll triage and resolve day-to-day IT issues on workstations, printers, and shop-floor hardware, manage user provisioning and MFA across SaaS tools, support CNC machines and shop-floor connectivity, and partner with operations to translate workflows into internal tools using AI coding assistants. You’ll work 50% on-site in a manufacturing setting and 50% on internal software projects, building dashboards, automations, and integrations to streamline operations. Expect travel to Aromas, CA 1–2 times per month and onsite 3 days/week at the Richmond, CA factory, with remote/onsite flexibility as needed. You’ll be mentored by the IT/Operations Manager and contribute to digital transformation across both Fireclay Tile and Fox Marble, gaining hands-on experience across hardware, networks, SaaS ecosystems, and AI-enabled software development.
Required Qualifications
- IT Fundamentals: Windows/macOS, hardware troubleshooting, basic networking (DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi)
- Experience with onboarding/offboarding and SaaS stack administration (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Salesforce) is valued
- Programming aptitude in any modern language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) or coursework
- Ability to lift/move standard IT equipment; willingness to travel to Aromas, CA 1–2 times per month
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Comfort working in live manufacturing environment
- Strong communicator and ability to explain technical issues to varied audiences
