Job Summary
Lead a team of quality engineers to ensure software Quality Assurance and Control aligned with business goals and delivery commitments. Define the software quality strategy, testing policy, and quality standards to establish a consistent approach across solutions. Assign and prioritize quality activities to balance workload, coverage, and roadmap commitments while overseeing structured test planning and quality practices. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to confirm deliverables meet required quality outcomes and expectations. Develop team capability through coaching, feedback, knowledge sharing, and clear performance expectations. Monitor quality risks, metrics, and improvement opportunities to strengthen reliability, security, maintainability, and stakeholder confidence. Embed quality gates and automated checkpoints to prevent low-quality code from progressing through delivery stages.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Manager of Software Quality (CMSQ)
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or quality engineering
- At least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing quality practices across multiple projects or products
- Proven experience defining and implementing software quality strategies, test policies, and quality standards
- Strong hands-on experience in test planning, test management, defect management, and validation activities across functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with development, product, infrastructure, and business teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Experience establishing quality gates, test automation practices, and reporting on quality metrics and risks
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
