Job Summary
IT Solutions Operations Engineer responsible for Level 2/3 operational support of centrally managed laboratory and enterprise applications (Empower, NuGenesis, LabSolutions or similar), ensuring systems remain compliant, available, and fit for purpose in GxP/regulatory environments. Works with QA, CSV, Infrastructure, vendors and stakeholders to maintain validated systems, support audits, and deliver controlled system changes. Performs routine maintenance, upgrades, patching, health checks, incident/change/problem/exception management, root cause analysis, and CAPA follow-up. Requires ITIL-based operations, CSV/data integrity, scripting (PowerShell), Oracle/SQL, virtualization, and willingness to travel up to 20% and occasionally work outside standard hours.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 / Level 3 operational support for centrally managed laboratory and enterprise applications
- Incident management across P1 to P4
- ITIL best practices
- Maintenance, upgrades, patching, preventive maintenance, health checks
- GxP compliance and data integrity
- CSV familiarity and lifecycle
- Validation mindset and CAPA involvement
- Collaboration with Infrastructure, QA, CSV teams and vendors
- Hands-on experience with Empower, NuGenesis, LabSolutions or similar
- PowerShell / scripting
- Oracle and SQL databases
- Virtualized environments
- Willingness to work outside business hours occasionally
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
