IT Solution Specialist

Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions across integration, workflow automation, and knowledge management platforms. Provide day-to-day operational support for assigned platforms, including issue resolution, system monitoring, and performance tuning. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, define solution approaches, and deliver fit-for-purpose applications and enhancements. Monitor and maintain integration processes, API endpoints, and middleware performance, ensuring availability and data flow integrity. Maintain and improve workflow automation processes for approvals, notifications, and task routing across systems. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for incident resolution, patching, upgrades, and security compliance. Develop and maintain documentation for platform configuration, processes, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides. Engage in planning and delivery of platform upgrades, migrations, or new deployments. Support change management activities, including impact assessments, UAT coordination, and deployment rollouts.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 to 9 years of experience in application/platform development and support
- Strong hands-on experience with Boomi platform
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting production systems, including incident resolution and root cause analysis
- Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, data transformation (JSON, XML), and event-based integrations
- Familiar with cloud-based platforms (i.e. Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills able to engage users, manage expectations, and drive resolution of platform issues
- Organised and self-driven, with good coordination skills to support multiple initiatives and ensure timely delivery
- Ability to maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase articles
- Boomi Associate Developer certification
- Boomi Professional Developer certification
- Nintex Automation (formerly Nintex K2) certification
- Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint certifications
- ITIL Foundation or other support operations-related certifications
- Agile or Project Management credentials
