Job Summary
Develop and manage systems facilitating information exchange within company infrastructure and with external trading partners, including system installation, configuration, maintenance, and support. Provide data and information systems support specifically for MultiValue databases and administer Universe/SQL databases in support of ERP systems. Plan, coordinate, and develop new software, hardware, networks, and applications alongside data integration initiatives while performing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping using third-party tools. Consult with users to identify inefficient processes and develop reports to improve Service Level Agreement visibility. Collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams to deliver application solutions following sound Software Development Life Cycle processes. Work under moderate to high stress with flexibility in scheduling, including outside regular business hours as part of a rotation supporting enterprise systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (BSCS/BSSE)
- At least 5 years of experience as a programmer/analyst
- Proven work on data integration projects
- Extensive knowledge in data processing
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Knowledge of Universe/Unidata/MV-db
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Oracle
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Technical proficiency with networking devices
- Technical proficiency with web development
- Technical proficiency with label generation
- Technical proficiency with end-user support
- Strong background in the Transportation & Logistics industry
- Proficiency with XML
- Proficiency with X.12 EDI standards
- Proficiency with SOAP
- Proficiency with JSON
- Proficiency with ASCII files
- Proficiency with FTP
- Proficiency with ODBC
- Experience in developing standards, procedures, and guidelines for technical and operational use
- Over 5 years of experience with Universe
- Experience in integration solutions with Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to query and generate reports using SQL and Oracle
