Job Summary
Senior IT Software Asset Manager to oversee the lifecycle management, optimization, governance, and operational support of enterprise SaaS and AI software platforms; manage licensing, vendor relationships, access governance, cost optimization, and renewal support; analyze license utilization and reconcile licenses; administer software entitlement and renewal records; collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, and Finance; develop reporting/dashboards and participate in audits; support software consolidation during acquisitions; use identity governance tools (Okta, ConductorOne) for access management; strong vendor management and negotiation experience; requires Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years SAM/ITAM experience; preferred familiarity with additional SAM tools and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management
- Deep knowledge of SaaS software licensing models and agreements
- Proven experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Suite, OKTA or other related tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Detail oriented, problem solver & resourceful
