Job Summary
Conduct live demos, lead webinars, and present at industry events to convert technical conversations into pipeline for eCommerce or Data Science/AI practices. Own demo environments end-to-end, stand up POCs without architect support, and translate solution capabilities into business outcomes for executive buyers. Deliver discovery calls with prospects sourced through marketing and outbound efforts, while collaborating with delivery teams to feed real implementation patterns back into pitches. Typical week includes two or three live demos in sandbox, one webinar or partner event, and ongoing collaboration with delivery teams. Master's degree strongly preferred; US work authorization without ongoing sponsorship is preferred. Hybrid schedule based out of Naperville HQ with regular days at Chicago Loop office.
Required Qualifications
- Two to three years in solutions consulting, sales engineering, technical pre-sales, or technical consulting
- Tied to either modern eCommerce platforms or data science and AI tooling
- Understanding of domain end-to-end
- Ability to hold a credible conversation across architecture, integrations, and business value
- Ability to deliver a demo unaided
- Comfort doing a demo in front of a room
- Communication with the polish of someone who has spent time in front of executive buyers
- US work authorization without ongoing sponsorship
- Relevant eCommerce platform experience (Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, SAP Commerce, Oracle Commerce)
- Relevant Data Science/AI experience (Python, SQL, ML/AI workflows, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI, LLM tooling)
- Data science, statistics, or ML engineering background with client-facing instincts
