Job Summary
Provide support services to GIS customers for specific IT services under supervision while adhering to service management processes to meet customer SLAs. Execute basic changes, including patching and upgrades, following standard operating procedures and change release policies. Draft technical documentation for services, monitor availability and performance, and report anomalies through predefined processes. Perform root cause analysis for outages or incident trends, often collaborating with managed services partners. This role requires full-time status with 25% travel and is based in Treviso, Italy.
Required Qualifications
- Conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline
- General knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
- Ability to supervise and provide support services to GIS (Global Information Services) customers
- Adherence to service management processes and procedures
- Ability to carry out recommended updates to the service lifecycle including patching, point releases and major upgrades
- Ability to configure IT technology and execute basic changes while following standard operating procedures and change/release management policies
- Ability to draft technical and end-user documentation for specific IT service or set of services
- Ability to monitor specific IT service or set of services for availability and performance and report anomalies through predefined process
- Ability to complete root cause analysis of outages or incident trends
- Ability to work with managed services partners
- 25% travel availability
