Job Summary
IT Service Consultant responsible for first/second-line end-user technology support across multiple GPT sites in Sydney and Melbourne. You will resolve routine inquiries, manage priorities to meet SLAs, troubleshoot desktop and laptop components, support corporate software and infrastructure, and collaborate with outsourced providers. The role emphasizes hands-on support, site visits, maintaining documentation, and staying current with technology trends to ensure seamless operation of services in a distributed environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ Years’ experience in Desktop Support / Technical customer support positions
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Platforms and Applications (Windows 10, Office Suite of Products, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Microsoft Endpoint Manager)
- ITIL Foundation Certificate or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience with Teams and Meeting Room Technologies
- Experience with Cherwell Service Management tools is desirable
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM, Endpoint Manager and PowerShell is desirable
- Knowledge and experience with network infrastructure is desirable
