IT Server Administrator - Onsite

Establish a reliable network by evaluating server and storage performance issues including availability, utilization, capacity, and latency; recommend equipment selection, installation, configuration, and testing. Lead technical projects within the server and SAN environment while assisting in developing network policies and procedures. Maintain performance through server and storage monitoring, analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting, escalating problems to vendors as needed. Secure the network by developing access controls, monitoring, and evaluation while maintaining documentation. Prepare IT team members through designing and conducting training programs and providing support documentation. Upgrade servers and storage by conferring with vendors to develop, test, evaluate, and install enhancements. Submit budget information and monitor expenses to meet financial requirements. Participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations to update job knowledge. Adhere to all DCH Health System policies, patient safety standards, and behavioral expectations while performing essential functions including lifting 55 pounds and participating in an on-call rotation.
