Job Summary
Monitor networks, cloud deployments, and software systems while identifying, researching, and resolving security issues across SIEM, vulnerability management, and intrusion detection platforms. Investigate alerts generated by systems and tickets from users, leveraging threat intelligence to mitigate attempted attacks and propose new layers of protection. Maintain healthy liaisons with project managers, business partners, and vendors to support security projects and track compliance metrics. Utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency and document configurations for various security systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Information Security or related field with a focus on security and/or the investigation or root cause analysis
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Industry standard certifications in Information Security, Digital Forensics, or related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Investigative Mindset (focus on root cause)
- Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
- Detail-oriented, excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple shifting priorities
- Strong understanding of attacker tools, techniques, and methodologies. Ability to gather and act on threat intelligence
- Strong collaborative skills and proven ability to work in a diverse team of professionals (e.g. HR, Legal, IT, Information Security, Lines of Business, etc.)
