Job Summary
Plan, develop, perform, and lead moderate to high risk IT and integrated audits. Lead Staff Auditors in performing the work and collaborate with internal audit management, external auditors, and co-source providers. Prepare audit planning documents, test of controls, and audit programs; compile information requests; conduct walkthroughs and risk/controls mapping; present findings and recommendations in audit reports and conduct follow-up. Maintain productive auditee relationships and mentor less experienced staff. Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity trends and risks, and the ability to apply auditing techniques to assess IT controls within a banking context. Familiarity with audit software (TeamMate) and tools (Visio) for process diagrams and documentation; capable of independent work and clear communication across stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in cybersecurity, information systems, accounting, or finance; other applicable business areas would be considered
- Three or more years audit experience; public accounting experience and/or banking experience
- Ability to work independently on audit engagements
- Ability to properly handle confidential and proprietary information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of information technology, cybersecurity, digital capabilities, and auditing standards
- Knowledge of TeamMate audit software
- Knowledge of Visio and ability to create flowcharts
