Job Summary
The IT Security Specialist - Engineering role is tasked with delivering security activities and enhancing security solutions for CLS. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing security strategies, providing security advice for IT projects, operating security controls such as SIEM and DLP, and managing security practices across cloud and on-premise environments. Candidates should have extensive knowledge in security frameworks and tools, along with strong collaboration and communication skills. A B.S. in a relevant technology discipline or equivalent certifications is required.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of information security experience
- At least 2 years in cloud security
- Expert knowledge of firewalls, TCP/IP, network IDS/IPS, host-based IDS/IPS, endpoint and network-based DLP, web proxies, email protection, endpoint protection software, SIEM
- Sound knowledge of enterprise security concepts/frameworks and products
- Strong documentation and report writing skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Financial and/or Banking industry experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Industry recognized cloud security qualifications (e.g. CCSK, CCSP, AWS Security Fundamentals, AWS Certified Security)
- Working knowledge of frameworks and regulations: ISO 27001/2, SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls, NIST CSF, and FFIEC handbook
