Job Summary
Lead the delivery and oversight of Information Security across CNA Hardy by implementing global security strategy aligned with business priorities. Act as the primary liaison between global Information Security and local IT and business teams to embed security into core processes. Identify emerging vulnerabilities, assess risk impacts, and drive mitigation strategies in collaboration with global leadership. Oversee detection, response, and resolution of security incidents while ensuring adherence to global policies and regulatory requirements. Provide oversight to security teams, delivering reporting and assurance to senior leadership, regulators, and enterprise risk functions. This senior leadership role aligns global strategy with local operational needs in our London office.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge across information security domains including risk management, security operations, and incident response
- Expert understanding of security regulations, frameworks, and internal controls, particularly within complex, regulated environments
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive adoption of security best practice across an organisation
- Demonstrated experience leading security initiatives and projects through full lifecycle delivery across enterprise environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across IT, business leadership, and external stakeholders
- Senior leadership role responsible for aligning global security strategy with local business needs
- Acting as a trusted advisor to IT and business leadership
- Driving enterprise-wide security initiatives that safeguard our systems, data, and operations
