Job Summary
Security Engineering – DLP & CASB Specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide DLP controls using Microsoft Purview DLP and Netskope DLP/CASB, integrating with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), developing tuning policies to minimize false positives, and collaborating with SOC/IT teams to improve data protection across cloud, endpoints, and web channels. The role includes policy development, governance and compliance mapping (GDPR, CCPA, PCI, HIPAA), incident response support, documentation and training, and driving modernization efforts in DLP/CASB tooling. Requires senior-level experience with cloud security controls, cloud-data protection patterns, and cross-functional leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in DLP engineering, cybersecurity, or cloud security roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, AIP, labels, classifiers, DLP/Information Protection, Netskope DLP/CASB
- Proven experience engineering DLP policies, integrating with cloud apps, and supporting enterprise-scale environments
- Deep understanding of MDCA / Defender for Cloud Apps, AWS, Azure, GCP data-protection patterns
- Experience with SIEM (Splunk), log pipelines, dashboards
- Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to translate technical DLP concepts for non-technical partners
- Demonstrated leadership in driving security best practices across teams
- CCSP, CISSP, CISM, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty certifications a plus
- Vendor certifications (Microsoft Security, Netskope, etc.) a plus

- Remote anywhere in the United States with exceptions: Hawaii and Alaska
