IT Security Analyst

As an IT Security Analyst at NCS Australia, you will be the primary architect and guardian of our information systems’ integrity, overseeing end-to-end security controls from design to long-term operation. You will ensure strategies align with legislative mandates, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards, bridging compliance and execution. Your role includes leading risk, vulnerability, and business impact assessments for medium-complexity systems, guiding investigations with advanced forensic techniques, and championing accreditation and audits with a focus on AWS cloud environments. You will translate complex security risks into clear, actionable insights for both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, leveraging frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, NIST, ISO 27001, and the Essential Eight. Industry credentials such as CISA, CISM, or IRAP Assessor status are a plus, as is the willingness to obtain AGSV clearance. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia, with a hybrid remote work option.
