Job Summary
IT Purchasing Assistant Analyst in the New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) Procurement and Contract Management Unit. Responsibilities include procuring IT software, hardware and licenses, ensuring compliance with Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) rules, processing invoices and purchase orders, coordinating with project managers for contract compliance, attending project meetings and trainings, creating and maintaining reports for invoices/expenditures/inventory, overseeing vendor responsibility and budget constraints, providing corrective action to underperforming contractors, and performing related tasks. Preferred skills include knowledge of NYC procurement rules, experience with NYC Financial Management System (FMS), strong written/verbal/organizational/communication skills, data analysis, teamwork, and proficiency in Word and Excel. Telework is available two days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Level 1 – associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and one (1) year of satisfactory experience in Information Technology procurements in the public sector or related.
- Level 2 – associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and two (2) years of satisfactory experience in Information Technology procurements in the public sector or related.
- Level 3 – a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and one (1) year of satisfactory experience in Information Technology procurements in the public sector or related.
- Level 4 – a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two (2) years of satisfactory experience in Information Technology procurements in the public sector or related.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
