Job Summary

Manage multiple simultaneous technical projects with complex interdependencies, coordinating sequencing, alignment discussions, and governance activities for the enterprise-wide Unified Visitor Experience initiative. Partner with a project lead to structure discovery, road-mapping, and implementation while collaborating with external consultants to surface requirements and workflows. Execute full project management duties including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing, while maintaining documentation, tracking budgets, and addressing cost overruns. Facilitate negotiations to drive consensus, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies alongside change management analysts. Prepare post-project reports and present work to internal and external audiences, ensuring adherence to project timelines and stakeholder needs across cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive software analysis development and implementation experience
  • 2-5 years of experience managing complex technical projects within the cultural heritage domain
  • This position is a hybrid work environment opportunity; this is not a permanent remote assignment
  • The successful candidate must be a California resident when employment begins
  • Reside within a commutable distance of Getty
  • Must work at least one day per week on Getty's campus
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), certified completion of a Project Management program, or certification in process is strongly preferred
