IT PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary
Lead mission-critical healthcare imaging projects from discovery through go-live, managing PACS, RIS, Voice Recognition, Worklist, Image Archive, and AI initiatives. Serve as the primary client contact, building trusted advisor relationships with imaging directors and clinical stakeholders while translating technical risks into business-level communication. Own full project delivery governance, developing detailed plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and facilitating go/no-go decisions for high-stakes implementations. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and HITECH standards while mitigating risks related to uptime and data integrity. This hybrid role based in Scottsdale, Arizona, requires in-office collaboration four days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of IT experience with 3 years in IT Imaging environments
- Demonstrated experience delivering PACS, RIS, or enterprise imaging projects in a customer-facing role
- Working knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations in complex, multi-stakeholder hospital, imaging center or clinic environments
- Strong executive communication skills — comfortable presenting to C-suite and clinical leadership
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements and healthcare IT security frameworks
- Some travel may be required to customer sites or Imaging related conferences
