IT Project Manager

Job Summary
Plan, execute, and implement all projects to deliver intended business outcomes on time, on budget, and within quality parameters and scope. Develop, build, report, and govern project progress in line with the IT Project Management Office Framework, while assessing, prioritizing, and mitigating risks. Define project plans, manage the full lifecycle including operational checkpoints, and oversee all phases of completion. Represent the project at governance and inter-department forums, align initiatives to PMBOK standards, and communicate progress to key stakeholders. Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and consult on process impacts. This 12-month fixed-term role contributes to the transformation and improvement program of the IT Team at Sanitarium Health Food Company.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in delivering technical projects to support business solutions
- Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management and SDLC methodologies and tools (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
- Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management Tools. (Visio, MS Project, Project Server etc)
- Certified in PMI or PRINCE2 methodology or equivalent
- Tertiary level degree in information technology or relevant industry experience
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have the legal right to work in Australia
Desired Qualifications
- Change management experience is highly regarded
- Experience in FMCG and/or manufacturing highly desirable
