Job Summary
IT Project Manager (MSP) responsible for leading IT projects from kickoff to completion within FusionTek's MSP environment. Responsibilities include developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets; leading project engineers; serving as primary client liaison; coordinating cross-functional teams; ensuring accurate documentation; monitoring risks and implementing change controls; managing project scope, resources, and stakeholder communications; and evaluating outcomes post-completion to drive continuous improvement. Requires experience with MSPs, client-facing project delivery, and familiarity with PSA tools (ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Asana, MS Project) and ITSM practices. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; PMP preferred. Salary range: $90,000–$110,000/year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 4 years of project management experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- Demonstrated experience working directly with clients, vendors, and internal technical teams in a fast-paced service environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, coordinating cross-functional teams to successful outcomes
- PMP certification preferred (or other relevant project management credentials)
- Strong understanding of IT principles, infrastructure, and managed services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Hands-on experience with PSA and project management tools such as ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Asana, or Microsoft Project
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a client-focused approach
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and follow-through
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
