Job Summary
IT Portfolio Manager to oversee a federal IT project portfolio, align projects with strategic objectives, develop dashboards, KPIs, and ROI reporting, provide oversight to project managers, collaborate with stakeholders, identify risks, and ensure governance across IT initiatives. Requires 4+ years of IT project or program management experience, familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall, and proficiency with portfolio tools (MS Project Online, Planview, Clarity, Jira Align). Bachelor's degree in IT/Business Administration or related field; US citizenship and eligibility for Federal Public Trust. Location in Washington, D.C., or residing in DC/VA/MD with hybrid on-site 1 day per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 4+ years of IT project or program management experience
- Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and portfolio management frameworks
- Proficiency with portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project Online, Planview, Clarity, Jira Align, or similar
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to balance strategic oversight with attention to project-level details
- USA Citizenship is required
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust
