Job Summary
IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives from planning through delivery within MetTel's Network Operations Team in New York. Responsibilities include end-to-end project management for IT initiatives (infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, cloud migrations), development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations; risk and issue management using RAID logs and risk registers; facilitating Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives); cross-functional coordination across engineering, security, operations, and business stakeholders; preparation and delivery of executive-level status reports, steering committee presentations, and project dashboards; vendor relationships including SOW negotiation and invoice approval; ensuring PMO governance compliance and organizational change management; tracking KPIs and conducting post-implementation reviews; mentoring junior project coordinators and contributing to PMO process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Business, IT, or related field
- 6+ years of IT project management experience
- PMP certification required
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $1M
- Experience with both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
