Job Summary
The IT Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end project management and execution, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time while meeting key performance objectives. Key responsibilities include initiating, planning, executing, and closing projects according to departmental methodologies. The role requires developing and tracking project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to quality management systems. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, significant experience in IT project management, and strong technical competencies in project management tools and IT service management frameworks. PMI Certification and a master's degree are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in information technology
- 2-3 years of experience in IT project management or direct supervisory role
- Certification from an accredited institution in Project Management required (e.g., PMI Certified)
- Expert in the use of project management tools such as MS Project, MS Project Server
