IT Project Manager

Job Summary
Develop detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and budgets while coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution. Lead project teams to ensure goals are met, manage changes and their impacts, and identify risks with mitigation strategies. Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders by providing regular updates on status, risks, and issues, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards. Resolve lifecycle issues, conduct reviews for continuous improvement, and track expenditures to maintain cost-effectiveness. Maintain comprehensive documentation including plans, progress reports, and final deliverables. Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions and implement life-cycle methodologies for software systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- PMP certification
- Minimum of 5-10 years of project management experience, with a focus on IT projects
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development and/or enterprise projects from inception to completion
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Jira)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to use logic and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both internal and external partners effectively
- Able to work independently, but willing to be a team player in support of the team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
