IT Project Manager (12 month FTC)

Job Summary
Lead IT projects across infrastructure, security, and operations transformations within an IT operations context. Manage full project lifecycles from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards while aligning IT business transformation with operational functions and stakeholder expectations. Require strong Waterfall and Agile experience, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and manage risks, with a focus on continuous process improvement and change management. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field
- at least 5 years’ experience in project management with a track record of running digital transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including cloud technologies/services, networking, servers and storage
- Strong knowledge of security principles and risk management
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification(s)
- Knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks; ITIL certification an advantage
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project)
- Relevant industry certifications – i.e. Microsoft Cloud – also beneficial
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in English
- Ability to complete assignments with minimal direction
- Adept in working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Flexible and self-starting with an exceptional aptitude for dealing with ambiguity, unexpected emergencies, frequent interruptions, and competing deadlines
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and pursuit of knowledge beyond immediate tasks
