Job Summary

IT Project Assistant provides administrative and coordination support to the IT Manager and IT team, organizing project timelines, task lists, documentation, budgets, schedules, and progress; updating tracking sheets, preparing agendas and minutes, and facilitating follow-up on action items; supports communication between IT staff and other departments and assists with organizing vendor information and basic documentation; requires a Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Administration, IT, Engineering, or related field, strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office or Google Workspace, bilingual English/Spanish, and familiarity with tools like Trello, MS Project, or BaseCamp. Employment is temporary, full-time (approximately 4 months, renewable depending on needs); location is Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, with in-person remote option.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Administration, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication skills in English and Spanish

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role
  • Basic familiarity with software/tools (e.g., Trello, Microsoft Project, BaseCamp)
  • Experience working in an educational environment is a plus
