IT PROGRAMS BUDGET MANAGER

Job Summary
Oversee the Expense and Capital budgets for ITS and agencywide AOTPS contracts, reviewing fiscal requests, proposals, and resource proposals including insourcing, consultant/temp requests, and headcount. Process contract and procurement actions, prepare budget modifications, run reports, and research expenditures in the City's Financial Management System to ensure compliance with fiscal requirements. Serve as a liaison to the Mayor's Office of Management & Budget, the Comptroller's Office, City Council, and other oversight agencies on budgetary matters. Assist with major budget exercises for the November Plan, Preliminary Budget, Executive Budget, and Adopted Budget, and advise senior management on financial plan changes and expenditure trends.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field
- Four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position
- A specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain
- An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field
- Six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- Eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the listed options
