Job Summary
IT Program Manager responsible for leading a global technology project portfolio within Gartner’s Consulting & Insights Technology organization. Partners with technical leadership to report progress to executives and stakeholders, drives Agile/Scrum delivery, defines and tracks project metrics, and steers strategic and tactical planning of technology and resources. Oversight includes budgeting, risk identification and mitigation, change management, and ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals. The role requires coordinating with dispersed teams, guiding multiple sub-project plans into a cohesive portfolio, and delivering high-impact IT solutions that meet business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or foreign equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in IT program management
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
- Demonstrated leadership with matrixed teams, management and executive stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple IT development and/or IT infrastructure projects
- Experience with project backlog refinement, risk management, stakeholder management, and release management
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Suite, JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
