IT Procurement Specialist

Job Summary
Responsible for technology procurement activities, executing sourcing strategies, evaluating product/service offerings, recommending vendors, and negotiating contracts for IT purchases across multiple entities. Manages full-cycle procurement operations including POs, invoice processing, vendor relationships, pre-qualifying vendors, and RMA processes, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Tracks IT budget activity, conducts budget documentation and cost-reduction analyses, and supports software license usage audits. Requires hands-on experience with hardware, software, and SaaS procurement, vendor negotiation, and inventory lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of professional experience in procurement or administrative role
- Basic knowledge of accounting functions and procedures
- Proficiency with standard business computer applications
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Creative and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Solid understanding of IT hardware, software, and vendor ecosystems
