Job Summary
Procurement Director – Global IT responsible for defining and driving strategic IT & Digital procurement across regions, leading the global IT Procurement team (based in Warsaw) to deliver 3-year roadmaps, savings initiatives, and governance of indirect spend; role emphasizes leadership of cross-functional teams, supplier relationship management, governance of spend policies, and enabling value delivery through strategic sourcing, tender management, and ESG-aligned sourcing improvements. Key skills include strategic sourcing, stakeholder management at senior levels, IT & Digital domain knowledge, international/matrix collaboration, capability development of the team, and strong communication in English (Polish also required). Role involves working with VP Indirect Procurement, CIO, regional teams, and ESG partners to drive transformation and value realization.
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in procurement, especially in global IT & Digital space
- experience in international/matrix organizations
- strong stakeholder management with senior leaders including C-Suite
- track record in supporting company-wide transformation in IT & Digital space
- experience in building and developing organizations, incl. conflict management
- excellent analytical, negotiation, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills
- high reliability, integrity, autonomy, and ownership
- business-driven, pragmatic, results-oriented approach
- excellent written and spoken English; Polish language fluency required
