Job Summary
IT Process Automation Lead responsible for Atlassian platform ownership (Jira Cloud and Confluence), user/access governance, and standardization of practices. Build and maintain automation using Groovy, Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell; develop advanced ScriptRunner solutions (listeners, behaviors, REST endpoints, validators, post-functions, scheduled jobs); design and implement cross-platform integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware (including Microsoft Power Platform). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect automation solutions, and produce clear documentation. Mentor colleagues and promote best practices in automation, scripting, and Atlassian tool usage.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Atlassian products administration
- Strong mastery of scripting languages - Groovy, Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
- Proven experience designing complex workflows, custom fields, permissions, automation rules, and integrations
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Power Platform for automation (Power Apps, Power Automate, MS Teams)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication methods, and integration architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to architect scalable automation solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
