Job Summary
Hands-on IT Portfolio and Project Manager role focusing on overseeing the IT project portfolio and delivering selected projects from idea to go-live. Responsible for ensuring initiatives are visible, prioritized, and aligned with business goals; tracking delivery, budgets, and risks; informing IT leadership for data-driven decisions; improving project management processes; fostering a collaborative culture; defining work packages and timelines with vendors; supporting smaller internal projects as a resource; applying proven frameworks to reduce unnecessary work and improve digital solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant IT experience across operations, systems, and delivery environments
- Experience driving IT projects and initiatives end to end
- Exposure to portfolio level oversight (prioritization, cost, risk, stakeholder reporting)
- Should have a broad understanding of modern IT
- Comfortable joining technical discussions and holding partners accountable for delivery
- Experience working with external consultants, writing work orders, and tracking project costs
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly to all organizational levels
- Situational awareness and collaboration skills
- Calm and decisive leadership with the ability to lead in fast-moving environments
- Understanding of how systems connect and impact the organization
