Job Summary
Analyze, configure, and troubleshoot Agile PLM business systems while supporting production environments, debugging SDK-based applications, and maintaining system integrity through upgrades and patches. Design and develop integrations between PLM and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, and lead data migration, mapping, and validation activities for the transition to Oracle Cloud PLM or Windchill. Document requirements, create specifications, and apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate scripting, code review, and documentation authoring. Collaborate with Sunnyvale-based architects and business analysts to implement compliant solutions across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs domains.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and 5+ years of hands-on experience with Agile PLM
- Experience with Oracle Cloud PLM, PTC Windchill, Teamcenter, or other comparable PLM platforms
- Working knowledge of Document Control, Manufacturing, and Engineering processes within a medical device company
- Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 design-control and quality-system requirements
- Understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) / Computer Software Assurance (CSA) principles
- Architecture / backend database experience in an Oracle or Linux environment
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and modern integration patterns for connecting PLM to enterprise systems
- Experience supporting and developing Agile ACS code, Agile API SDK-based customizations, and Process Extensions
- Experience with Java-based web applications (Java/J2EE)
- Excel API experience with the ability to build reporting
- Experience developing specification documents from requirements for software development
- Minimum Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work on multiple projects/initiatives concurrently
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using a source control management tool
- Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence
- Relevant platform certification is a plus — e.g., Oracle Cloud PLM, PTC Windchill, or Agile PLM certification
- Prior experience participating in a PLM platform migration or major upgrade
- Familiarity with prompt engineering or AI-tool evaluation for internal productivity use cases
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous and evolving environments
- Demonstrated curiosity and continuous learning mindset
- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new PLM platforms, AI-enabled tools, and emerging business processes
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with, or working knowledge of, a modern cloud PLM platform — Oracle Cloud PLM, PTC Windchill, or comparable — including cloud-based configuration, workflow design, and data model concepts
- Experience with, or interest in, data migration/ETL activities
- Experience supporting and developing Agile ACS code, Agile API SDK-based customizations, and Process Extensions is a plus
- Experience with Java-based web applications (Java/J2EE) is nice to have
- Excel API experience with the ability to build reporting is nice to have
- Experience developing specification documents from requirements for software development
