IT Partner Services Intern

Job Summary
Build, deploy, maintain, and recover laptops and peripherals for new and termed partners while managing equipment request fulfillment. Own inventory and asset management for all companywide assets, including those tracked in the Strongsville Inventory Control Center and deployed remotely. Decommission old assets and reclaim hardware in accordance with department standards. Identify process improvements for senior management and collaborate with system admins to implement next-generation platform upgrades. Ensure work adheres to service levels and department guidelines while troubleshooting PC environment incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a 2-year or 4-year college degree in a technology related field, or equivalent
- Previous professional work experience (internships, other jobs, etc.)
- Requires a solid understanding of core networking including but not limited to: LAN/WAN, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN, Wireless and Firewalls
- Must be self-motivated, display an attitude of ownership and a strong desire to learn new technologies
- Must be a team player with excellent customer service skills and communication skills (both oral and written), attention to detail, comprehensive problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to manage tasks independently
- Proven ability to learn and pick up new technologies quickly
- Highly organized individual
- A self-starter who has strong, proactive work ethic and sense of responsibility in managing a full workload of multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- High energy personality who is able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem solver and troubleshooter
- Ability to meet very aggressive deadlines
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
