Job Summary
IT/OT Engineer III responsible for full lifecycle delivery across concept to close-out for projects within the IT/OT portfolio. Leads virtualization and network/service infrastructure activities, drives technical communications with customers, authors high-level designs and functional specifications, identifies risks and mitigation strategies, collaborates with Project Management to manage budgets, schedules, and quality, and mentors junior team members. Requires strong understanding of computer networks, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, databases, cybersecurity tools, and industrial control systems (DCS, PLCs, HMIs). Travel within the Greater Boston area and minor additional travel within the US or abroad is expected. Exposure to technologies across virtualization, networking, storage, cloud, cybersecurity, MES, and server hardware; ability to lead multi-discipline scopes from concept through delivery; customer-facing communication skills; and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering or Computer Science Degree
- 3+ years of experience in IT/OT engineering with a focus on network and system administration
- Experience with DeltaV
- Experience leading technical projects in IT/OT domain
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with multiple technologies listed (network infrastructure, OS, virtualization, cloud, databases, cybersecurity, industrial control systems, industrial networking protocols)
