IT Operations/Support Lead

Job Summary
IT Operations/Support Lead responsible for end-to-end IT management: laptops/workstations lifecycle, endpoint management (MDM tools), and enforcing security standards including SSO/identity access management. Oversees RBAC, onboarding/offboarding, logs monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance support (SOC 2, ISO 27001). Leads IT governance, runbooks, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering/security to align IT strategy with company growth, while supporting a mostly remote workforce. Requires 5+ years IT administration, 2+ years in a lead capacity, experience with Okta/Azure AD/Google Workspace, and strong security praxis. Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years IT administration or systems engineering
- 2+ years in a lead or manager capacity
- Experience administering Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace with SSO
- MDM/endpoint management experience (Intune, Jamf, Kandji, Workspace ONE)
- Endpoint security tooling (EDR/AV, encryption, host firewalls)
- Strong security best practices knowledge (MFA, RBAC, logging)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Ability to document processes and drive adoption
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT administration or systems engineering
- 2+ years in a lead or manager capacity
- Hands-on experience managing macOS and/or Windows endpoints in distributed/remote-first environments
- Experience administering enterprise identity platforms (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace) and integrating SSO with SaaS tools
- Strong understanding of security best practices for endpoints, identity, and SaaS (MFA, encryption, RBAC, least privilege, logging and monitoring)
- Proven track record implementing and operating MDM/endpoint management tools and endpoint security solutions
- Ability to design and document processes, drive adoption, and enforce standards in a growing organization
- Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting or implementing SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or similar compliance frameworks (Nice to have)
- Familiarity with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for IT administration (Nice to have)
- Background in cloud-native/SaaS-heavy environments (Nice to have)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, Okta Certified Professional, Microsoft 365/Entra) or equivalent experience (Nice to have)
