IT Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Manage end-to-end triage for global helpdesk requests, software access, and staff onboarding/offboarding across Australia, France, and remote teams in EU, LATAM, Africa, and Asia. Act as the primary liaison between internal staff, external vendors, and central IT partners to drive operational maturity and cybersecurity compliance. Coordinate access reviews, enhance single sign-on provisioning, and support major digital transformation projects for finance, marketing, and manufacturing systems. Optimize software license administration, track subscriptions, and build internal user guides to streamline workflows and reduce operational friction. This role reports directly to the Director, Digital Technology and Information Management, within a global infrastructure powering disease elimination initiatives. Candidates must possess valid, unrestricted work authorization for Australia, as sponsorship is not provided for this fixed-term position.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Systems (or equivalent)
- extensive experience in IT operations, service coordination, or tech operations support
- Proven experience managing business systems, user access, and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, CRM, ERP, project management, and AI productivity tools)
- Experience supporting cybersecurity, access management, and vendor coordination across distributed or international contexts
- Ability to translate technical terms into clear, actionable guidance for cross-cultural teams with varying technical confidence
- High comfort with context-switching in a fast-paced environment
