Job Summary
Monitor and operate electronic digital computers to process data, select input/output units, and observe equipment for error indicators. Set up diagnostic tests, react to messages, and report malfunctions while maintaining production records and replenishing stock. Schedule and coordinate customer deskside support for software or hardware break/fix activities, investigating connectivity issues across end-user and site infrastructure. Perform on-site coordination with hardware maintenance providers for installations, including after-hours support, and maintain IT infrastructure inventory by updating asset information and drawings. Oversee technical support for end-user devices, network infrastructure, VoIP, and audiovisual systems. Recommend process enhancements by researching new technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Current Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI while working
- BA/BS technical degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience
- HS diploma with 7 years of directly relevant experience
- Information Assurance Level Technician experience in a large government consulting environment
- CompTIA CySA+ certification
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- EC-Council CND certification
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications or training equivalent to CompTIA, Security+, etc.
