Job Summary
IT Operations Manager leading the day-to-day IT department activities, directing network/server upgrades, user support, policy development, vendor coordination, and migration efforts to ensure secure, reliable systems. Responsibilities include monitoring servers/networks for performance issues, developing IT policies, directing help desk escalations, assessing equipment needs, coordinating with vendors, supporting upgrade and migration activities, managing risk, and performing other related duties. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, 10+ years in IT operations with 5+ in leadership, strong English communication, budgeting experience, strong organization and mentoring abilities, and expertise in networks, cloud, data protection (GDPR), and Microsoft technologies (Office 365) with U.S. Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines.”,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or other relevant field
- At least 10 years handling IT operations, 5 years in a leadership role
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and mentor others
- Knowledgeable on budget management
- Experience with system installation, configuration and analysis
- Strong knowledge of networks, cloud computing, data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR)
- Strong working knowledge of Office 365, project management tools and Microsoft technology
