Job Summary
Monitor systems and applications including Linux, Windows, and AWS services while deploying applications across servers hosted on the cloud. Use Bash and Python scripting to automate processes and build, monitor, and troubleshoot production, test, and development environments. Work with CI/CD tools, tasks schedulers, and Amazon Web Services to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of Linux and scripting experience, and familiarity with subnetting, routing, and firewall policies. The position involves a rotational 2pm to 10pm EST shift every fifth week plus on-call pager duty. Join a collaborative Agile team within Moneyline Group LLC's IT Operations unit.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 - 5 years of Linux experience
- 3 - 5 years of Linux scripting experience
- Experience with IT infrastructure, subnetting, routing, firewall policies, and best practices
- Ability to writing SQL queries in order to troubleshoot data issues
- Familiarity with windows administration
- Comfortable working independently in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, vendors, and customers
- Must be available for standard office hours and a rotational 2pm - 10pm EST shift for one week every 5 weeks or so
- Must be able to handle on-call pager duty associated with the respective shifts
