Job Summary
Provision and manage users, groups, and licenses in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace while onboarding laptops into MDM and coordinating remote handovers. Triage first-line support tickets for password resets and access requests, escalating complex issues as needed. Execute weekly maintenance checks covering patch status, backup logs, and security alerts, then document fixes and runbooks to ensure repeatable processes. Dedicate approximately 20% of your time to security projects including CVE research, laptop hardening scripts, incident-response playbook drafts, and ISO 27001 checklist development. Requires 2+ years of hands-on IT operations experience with MDM proficiency and scripting skills. Competitive hourly rate of €12–16/hour with autonomy and growth opportunities within a fully remote, async-first culture.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, helpdesk, or systems administration
- Proven admin skills in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace (user/group management, security policies, basic troubleshooting)
- Comfortable with MDM platforms (Intune, Jamf, or similar)
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Strong written and spoken English
- Reliable internet and a professional remote setup
- Self-directed, comfortable working asynchronously across time zones
