Job Summary
IT Operations Associate responsible for maintaining office IT infrastructure across Wave's African operations, ensuring 99.9% uptime for internet access, supporting onboarding/offboarding, troubleshooting network and telephony issues (SMPP/SIP), assisting with system and network setup, handling ticket management, on-call support, SQL reporting, vendor liaison for telecom services, and providing IT training and process improvements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in ICT/CS/Engineering/Telecommunications, 2+ years in IT/Network support, proficiency in French and English, familiarity with networks and SaaS tools, and willingness to work flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of IT/Network support desk experience
- Proficient in French and English
- Knowledge of networks and any SAAS tool
- Experience with Google Workspace
- Willingness to work on weekends or statutory holidays if required
