Job Summary
IT Onsite Support Specialist responsible for managing local IT systems and services at Essity’s location in Dover, DE. The role focuses on supporting Digital Workplace-related systems and Operational Technology, handling tickets from customers, migrating systems to Essity’s IT and manufacturing ecosystem, maintaining local servers and networks, administering IT assets and training users, ensuring audit compliance, and coordinating with global IT teams. The position requires travel between local support sites and the ability to support remotely at other locations, with on-site operations and 24/7 on-call support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent certifications/experience in relevant field
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience delivering IT Support & Solutions to Supply Chain locations or relevant similar experience
- Strong oral communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Observational skills
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge or experience of commonly used Essity software, hardware and applications
- Proven experience with IT Service Management tools and ticketing systems
- Experience in managing IT assets, including hardware and software inventory, licensing, and maintenance tracking
- Very good understanding of IT security principles, including firewalls, antivirus software, encryption, and secure password management
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and collaboration tools
- Bachelor degree or equivalent certifications/experience in relevant field
