Job Summary
Act as the main point of contact for end users regarding IT issues, requests, or questions. Resolve software, hardware, and device problems while supporting troubleshooting for connectivity, network elements, firewalls, and telephony systems. Implement and support remote access solutions via VPN. Occasionally provide meeting and conferencing support to top-level management. Contribute to the knowledge database, communicate ticket progress to users, and advise or train staff on computer operations and software applications. Escalate service issues when required. Fluently communicate in English and German.
Required Qualifications
- Good understanding of Information Technology; trends, products and solutions
- 1+ years' experience in a similar position supporting a variety of technologies and services
- In depth knowledge of: Windows OS (Windows 7 & 10)
- In depth knowledge of: Microsoft Office & Office 365 applications
- In depth knowledge of: PC\Laptop hardware
- In depth knowledge of: PC\Laptop peripherals, including printers
- In depth knowledge of: Mobile devices
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory
- Basic knowledge of Exchange
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken) communication skills
- Candidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than 3 months
