Job Summary
IT Manager to lead the company's technology strategy and governance across IT strategy, MSP oversight, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and acquisitions integration. The role partners with Operations, Finance, HR, and executive leadership to develop a technology roadmap that enables rapid growth, scalability, and secure operations. Responsibilities include managing third-party MSPs, SLAs, security controls, incident response, cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure), network/server/cloud infrastructure, data backup/disaster recovery, and facilitating IT due diligence and integration for acquisitions. Also responsible for budgeting, vendor negotiations, governance, end-user support, training, and standardizing systems across multiple locations. The role requires strategic planning, vendor management, project leadership, and hands-on problem solving, with initial oversight of MSP performance, security posture, and technology investments aligned to company objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 5–10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
- Experience managing third-party IT service providers
- Experience in construction, specialty contracting, industrial services, or field service organizations preferred
- Experience supporting multi-location operations
- Experience integrating acquired companies strongly preferred
- Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and business systems administration
