Job Summary
IT Manager at Striveworks leading and mentoring a small IT/support team while acting as primary architect/guardian of internal infrastructure for AI operations. Role includes directing IT strategy, managing vendor relationships and budgets, implementing and auditing CMMC controls, automating onboarding/offboarding and routine maintenance, managing cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP and on-prem OpenStack) for a hybrid workforce, and ensuring high-availability, secure systems that optimize developer experience. Requires deep expertise in Linux/Windows administration, cloud platforms, Terraform/Ansible, Kubernetes, networking (VPN, TCP/IP), and security/compliance with CMMC and related frameworks; candidate must be a US person and able to operate in a hybrid on-site office in Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years building and maintaining IT infrastructure
- 2+ years in formal or informal leadership/management within a high-growth technology company
- Proficiency in Linux server and Windows endpoint management at scale
- Deep cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS administration
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networks, VPNs, and Zero-Trust architecture
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into business outcomes for executive leadership
- US person (citizen/national/Green Card) required
